Founder & CEO
Chase Leavitt is the Founder and CEO of IPS (Investment Property Search). Over the course of his career, Chase has built extensive experience across residential real estate, multifamily investments, land acquisition, and ground-up development. His work spans both new construction and existing assets, with a focus on disciplined analysis and long-term value creation.
To date, Chase has facilitated over $500 million in real estate transactions and helped deliver more than 2,000 units across Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Texas, and Indiana, with active expansion into additional markets. In recognition of his performance, he was the #1 RE/MAX sales agent in Utah by sales volume in 2018 and ranked #4 overall in 2019.
Chase specializes in ground-up development across a wide range of asset types, including single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and multifamily communities. His experience also includes acquiring and managing 12–30 unit multifamily buildings and coordinating sales and execution across 25+ development communities, ranging from 20 to 300 units per project.
Throughout his career, Chase has worked with hundreds of investors, helping them build and scale real estate portfolios across multiple markets. His hands-on involvement in both transactions and development has given him a deep understanding of what makes an investment truly perform—from market selection and underwriting to execution and long-term operations.
For over 13 years, Chase has also been an active investor himself. This personal experience shapes his approach at IPS, where disciplined underwriting, accurate pro forma modeling, and market-specific insight are central to every opportunity evaluated. His development philosophy emphasizes precision, collaboration, and accountability, refined through years of coordinating complex projects with developers, builders, and sales teams.
Outside of real estate, Chase enjoys coaching his sons in sports, CrossFit, golf, time at the lake, and traveling with his wife and two sons. He played semi-professional baseball and holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Arkansas where he helped his baseball team to the College World Series in 2009.
As a husband and father, Chase is deeply motivated by legacy and long-term impact. He believes that accessible market knowledge and a clear understanding of key investment metrics are essential tools for building wealth and creating lasting financial security.
